How to replace the right handlebar grip on the 2008 Fat Boy®?

First, loosen the cable adjusters and then remove the bolt that holds the switch. Lay the top half aside without breaking any wires. Roll the throttle grip until both cables are disconnected. Slide the old grip off and put some thin grease inside the new grip. Slide the new grip to the handlebar and reconnect the cables. Replace the switch housing without pinching any of the wires. Push the switch housing all the way up against the front brake master cylinder and tighten the bolts. Readjust the cables. Make sure to check the throttle assembly as it can cause uncontrollable acceleration.
