As per the manufacturer, if you want to keep the battery safe from deep discharge then a portable battery charger such as the Battery Tender by Harley-Davidson® should be used. This battery charger is designed to charge the battery at the required frequency and also has an overcharging protection system.

So full disclosure, I originally submitted a bad review for this dealership but I have to say that they made it right! I was in the parking lot trying to install my newly purchased luggage rack and one of the rep came out and assisted me. Long story short, they hooked me up with a free luggage rack that fit my backrest set up. If that wasn’t great customer service, I don’t know what is! Thank you Baltimore HD!!!
